Coloured Landscaping and Garden Stones

Urban Pavings’ range of speciality coloured landscaping and garden stones are sourced from all the top quarries throughout New Zealand. They are all available in the 20 litre bag, by the scoop (0.3m), or we can arrange delivery of larger quantities direct to site.

40mm
	Teddington Chip This is a favourite 20-40mm local coloured chip from Banks Peninsula. It is has earthy brown and terracotta undertones and can be used in gardens and pathways.

5-10mm
	Crawford Hills Schist A Central Otago Schist with colours of gold, silver and brown and is used for paths, decorative gardens and water features. This stone is also used in our exposed aggregate Crawford Hills Paver. Available in two sizes, 5-10mm and 20m.

Chunky	8-14mm
		Blackstone Chip Available in two sizes, medium (8-14mm) and chunky (50mm). This black chip from south of Dunedin has become popular for its striking look, especially if in a water feature. The smaller size is ideal for paths, driveways or decorative gardens and the chunky size looks great to give a rugged texture look in decorative gardens.

10-20mm
	Golden (Oamaru) Pebble Available in two sizes, small (5-10mm) and large (10-20mm). An attractive white, orange and gold decorative pebble. Used to add colour to your path, decorative garden or water feature. This stone is also used  in our exposed aggregate Oamaru paver.

9-14mm
	Balclutha stone Available in two sizes, 5-9mm and 9-14mm. A mix of various shades of white, grey and brown stone from South Otago. Popular to add a variation in colour to your path or decorative garden. This stone is also used in our exposed aggregate Balclutha paver.

Chunky	5-12mm
		Limestone Chip Available in three sizes, small (0-12mm), large (5-12mm) and chunky (50mm). A popular lime coloured chip. The two smaller sizes are suitable for paths, decorative gardens and driveways (will crush down over time). The chunky size looks great in decorative gardens.

15mm	0-7mm
		Ivory Lime Chip Ivory Lime Chip Available in two sizes, 0-7 mm and 15mm. This is a stunning white chip sourced from the Canterbury foothills and an alternative to the traditional limestone colour. It is used mainly in pathways and gardens.

20mm
	Limestone Chip - Amuri A neutral off-white coloured 12-20mm limestone chip. Popularly used for paths, driveways and decorative gardens.

6-14mm
	Orari Brown Rounds This is a local 6-14mm Canterbury stone, predominately brown with some grey stone. It also is a great alternative for an exposed aggregate paver when you want earthy brown undertones, as opposed to grey undertones in the traditional exposed aggregate paver.

4-20mm
	NorWest Rock Available in 4-20mm. This stone is from the Canterbury foothills and has soft brown earthy undertones. It is an alternative to Teddington Chip which has some terracotta undertones. Both add great colour and flavour to your garden.

20-40mm
	Gibston Valley Schist - TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK 20-40mm. Another Central Otago Schist that has a silver green tinge and is stunning in pathways, decorative gardens and water features. It is also used in our exposed aggregate Gibston paver.

8-14mm
	Scoria A 8-14mm red volcanic rock. It is a hard and porous rock but very light resembling pumice. It is suitable for garden pathways and any ground cover. Mixing scoria at planting time will also help drain water.

	White Quartz A pure white stone that looks fantastic in pot plants, and small decorative gardens. Size ranges from 25-50mm. Available by order ONLY. Minimum order quantities apply.

	Otara Gold Pebble This is an attractive 8-14mm decorative stone from the Southern South Island. It is a mix of a grey and burnt orange colour. It is also known as ‘fruit salad’, - for obvious reasons!

	Arctic White This is a very rare, all white 8-14mm pebble from the deep south and an alternative to Awarua and Kapuka.

	Westland Flats Stones These stunning flat stones can be used for any decorative purpose indoors and outdoors. Available in three sizes, 30-50mm, 50-100mm and 100-150mm.

60-100mm
	Coloured Beach Stones These hand picked 60-100mm coloured stones come from the West Coast and are a varying mix of white, grey and orange. They are a stunning addition to any garden, pot plant or water feature.

	Kapuka Pebble This is an attractive mix of 8-14mm grey and white pebble from the southern South Island.
